This book is worth the money. Cornelia put some thought into this story line. I didn't like the actual "N" word being thrown around, but it did put the racism of the character into perspective. I hope Carrie and Martha suffer the same fate as Donald or worse. Karma us a "B" ladies and Brad should get it too. I don't even feel sorry for Carrie. I hope Leo and June make it in the end. Can't wait for part 2. Please don't make me wait too long.Product details

It's different, that's for sure. I like how it dates back to times where things were the way they were and then fast forwards to how they are still that way in some instances. It's a good time for this book with all of the things coming out in America right now. Love this book!

I loved it and cannot wait until part 2. So much lies and dirt was covered up and justice is finally being served for June's mom and Leo's dad. Next question is where does Ghost fit in this love affair?
This book was so good! I read it in one day because I couldn't put it down. I know racism still exsists and ok wonder how much of this is going on today. I'm ready for part two. Can't wait to learn June's fate and her relationship with Ghost!
What is the hold up on Part 2! I loved this book from start to finish. I absolutely love June and Leo together and I think they deserve the happily ever after their parents didn't get to see. This is a must read.
